Why is my girlfriend so confusing?

Very new relationship and she's confusing the hell out of me!

She says she likes what we're doing but.

She texts one moment asking if she can come over, and when I reply "Sure!" I don't hear from her for the rest of the night.

This has been happening for a few days now. She never initiates any kissing or anything but always snuggles up and waits for me to start. After we make out she's happy but then I don't see her for a while.

What's going on?

when I read this, I thought for sure you were a teenager. I was going to say things like, "is this her first relationship?"

but you're not. you are 30-35. so I'm assuming she's somewhere in her 20s or 30s and this is not her first relationship. in that case, I don't get it either. she sounds like a dud. what kind of woman texts you that she wants to come over and then doesn't answer when you respond?



if she doesn't initiate kissing, that may be because she likes to be "taken." it is very sexy to be with a macho man who takes charge (don't go overboard.) esp. if she is conservative/shy/catholic she may think it is not the girl's place to initiate. snuggling and looking at you longingly is her way of initiating and that is pretty normal. but the flakiness? no way. she sounds immature and indecisive. so she might not be that into you. or even if she is, if she's like this already imagine how bad a girlfriend she would be.

She want you to do everything, she wants to be loved by you, but she also doesn't want to make a fool of her self at the same time. Just make her feel like she knows you love her and that you always want to be around her, once you start making dates and stuff, she'll know that everything is working out fine.

she maybe has someone else too , sounds fishy play it cool and one time she says can I come over tell her no I will come over then if she calls don't answer and show up at her door see what's the deal. or give her a hard time she wants you so bad she will come around and open up.

I'm in the same situation, I'll call her and she won't answer then it will take a few days to talk again, however we like each other a lot, at least I think she does. So just enjoy the time with her!

Maybe you need to have the "where is this going" conversation. Something sounds fishy to me and it's better you get the scoop now before things progress any further.
