I have been talking to/hanging out with a guy for about a month. There has not been a commitment at this point, but we see each other 1-2 times a week. Every time he wants to hang out, he says before he comes over "I want to see you, I don't want you to think I want to come to your house to have sex." And he repeats that. He is always telling me how nice I look, and it drives him crazy when I tell him we aren't having sex, but he respects that. He won't commit at this time but wants to take it slow...

Is it a good thing when he can't keep his hands off you?

Look...it sounds to me like this guy is really into you. He wants to make it clear that there is more to you than a body. Saying those things makes him accountable for his actions, and he wants you to be aware of that.

Ok...so if he is that into you, and wants to be sure (take it slow) I would still expect him to be physical.

Touch is a very powerful part of communication. It is a way to say "I am right here with you".

It communicates feelings faster than anything he can say.

I still can't keep my hands off my girl. It's about being close.

That's the best way that guys know to show affection, so yeah, it can be a really good thing. I know I feel very loved and appreciated when my boyfriend can't keep his hands off me.

It seems like you have a pretty good amount of trust in him, so I would take it as a good sign unless he gives you any reason to think otherwise.

It's a good thing when he can't keep his hands off you, as long as you do other stuff than fooling around and you connect really well on a cerebral level. Good conversations, he shows signs that he's interested in what you have to say, etc.
