This girl that I used to date for almost 10 months 3 years ago that I'm talking to since the ending of July, texts me "goodnight hun" some nights. What does that mean amd how do I respond to that?

Nothing really. Many people use terms of endearment/affection loosely, including myself.

@aleman0696 no, it doesn't. I call strangers Hun when they pass me a menu in a restaraunt. I call people on GaG Hun to soften some harsh truths I may be dishing out. I called the girl in the deli Hun when she handed me my lunch ham.
It's not at all reserved for friendships
