What does it necessarily mean when a guy holds your hand?

This guy and I guess have a thing.. he became more brave today and jokingly poked my hands in the beginning. He would give me his hand and I would high five him, but that wasn’t what he wanted. When he showed me a video on his phone, he would touch my fingers while we were holding the phone together. After a couple minutes, we ended up holding each other’s hands for over 10 times. What does this necessarily mean?

He's probably shy but really likes you and is taking it slow and just wants to embrace you but holding hands would be enough. At least until he feels you have feelings for him in which he'll go for a hug then maybe a kiss

he would move closer to me and overlap his fingers onto mine when we looked at his video on the phone. Also, i went for a hug since last week. we hugged twice, last week and today

The thing he’s confusing me with is that, he’s texting my friend sister too. He seems kinda flirty to her. And asked me if I had any pretty friends I can introduce to him. But, I did the same to him too. I said to introduce me his hot friends
