Too late for him to chase me? (Playing Hard to Get)

Question

If a girl has sex with a guy every now and then but thinks that the guy maybe "interested" in something more...is it possible for the girl to try and get the guy to miss her and want her by ignoring him and acting busy...or do you think its already too late to play hard to get?

What I usually suggest when girl's try to play the "hard to get" thing is to not actually be playing. You don't need to pretend to be busy or ignore his calls on purpose. Just be busy! When you do things intentionally to play hard to get it usually backfires because you're so invested in the result. If you're available every time he wants to talk/see you you're probably not busy enough anyway. The key to being in happy relationships is to have your own life so that you're not fully dependent on someone else for your happiness.

Anyway, having said that. You could try actually being more busy. Go out with your friends more, exercise, cook, etc. I also have a rule that I don't answer texts while I'm driving (it's dangerous), or while I'm out with friends in a public place where it would be rude to answer (dinner/movies.) I do the same when I'm in class or I have homework to do as well, but then I'll let the guy know that I'm busy and will get back to him when I'm done. Basically what I'm trying to say is, none of those things are used as an intentional reason to "play hard to get." It ends up coming across like I'm a busy girl with a life, which guys have told me they find attractive, but I'm in no way trying to toy with them.

Because you guys are already having sex, there's a chance he's already put you in "booty call category." In which case it's extremely hard to get out of. However, you can find out his true intentions by seeing how he reacts when you pull away a little. In other words, stop having sex and see if he's still around. If he's interested in who you are, it won't change anything and he may even step it up and see what's changed. And if he's not, then he'll move on and you'll know what his intentions were.

If you want it to turn into something more than just sex every now and then, you should tell him that.. You do have the worry of getting hurt, but if you don't say anything and hope he can figure it out, things may not work. Most guys have trouble figuring out what we want, so the best policy is to just talk to him.

Its a bit late to play hard to get, but that doesn't mean its over!  u can still try something new (positions, lingerie, maybe stripping...) let him always come back asking for more:)

It mainly depends on what your relationship was based upon.

If it was a no strings attached type thing then I don't think he will care much and just move on to another girl to get his fix.

Another I've learned it's never a good thing to get a guy interested in you because liking someone should be natural not something that is forced.

I've seen when it is forced and the ending is not pretty. Usually one of the parties is heartbroken because the other one realizes he/she never liked them in the first place so it's like the relationship was for nothing. Get it?
