My brother found out I cut myself.

I have 6 brothers, five older and one younger. usually I'm more careful about the cuts but I was playing xbox today when I rolled my sleeve up(kinda in the moment) I felt my little brother(14) touching my arm and just though he was trying to ask me something. When I looked down I realized he had saw the cuts! He asked me what happen but I told him I scraped my arm while skateboarding. Next thing I know he's in my room and when I ask him what he is doing, he says he is looking for what I used to hurt myself and if he didn't find it, he would tell my older brothers! I would usually expect my older brothers to do something like this but not my younger brother. What can I do to stop him from telling my brothers, and why is he like this when he is my younger brother?

Look, I know all abuot being a Cutter.

i know it's not a fad or something 'fun' to do. People do it when they are emotionally unstable and don't know how to properly deal with life.

You NEED someone to step in, if you aren't able to do it yourself. You need to find someone to talk to so you do NOT cut. Many accidents CAN and do happen... Cutting is not healthy. Cutting is not right.

i applaud your brother for what he did! and I HOPE he does tell someone who can do more about it since you aren't.

i know it's hard to ask for help...but it's what you need.

I just don't want anyone to know. It's how I deal with things. I really don't want my brothers following me everywhere I go just because they think I'm gonna start hacking at my arms. They won't understand me, they'll just try and get me to stop immediately on their terms.

How you deal with things is WRONG. You have a severe problem and NEED help. You don't want them following you everywhere worrying about you, then swallow an ounce of maturity and self respect and seek out help. I cannot stress this enough. There is NOTHING you can say or reason to make cutting right. It's NOT. it's NOT a healthy, SAFE way to deal with anything.
