So I was asked out but I haven't from him since. (its only been 24hrs)We planned it for next week.

Should I wait? Am I being too impatient,or is this normal behavior?

What are you being impatient about? He's not your boyfriend. He only asked for a DATE. There is no requirement that he have to call you every night. Yes, you are being a bit impatient - maybe you're a little nervous. Relax.. Take a breath.. And WAIT. He WILL be in touch with you... remember.. he asked YOU for the date? Right? This guy in my friend grp asked me that if i wanna go somewhere with him tomorrow and i replied yes but then he asks me so is it a date then and i don't reply to that and just tell me we will meet tomorrow.
The next day i call him twice and he never shows up he is sending reels on our common frnd grp and sharing snaps but he never returned my call.
I don't know how toh react to this

That is why I hate setting up a first date so far in advance. I feel weird contacting her so soon and with the date so far away. On one hand I worry if I contact her to much she will think I'm obsessed, and if I don't that she will think I changed my mind. I think if you haven't heard from him after three days then you should start to wonder. I almost always wait one day before I contact her if we set it up for a week ahead of time.

Yeah plenty of time if he asks you out, he's interested, he will contact you with the details if not he's either dead or met someone else he likes more, stop stressing...
