I would release the grip and turn half away and say in a normal voice "we have to use our brains to handle this" and after a few more seconds I would look her in the eyes saying "I went through all possibilities. it will probably be the best if we get used to this situation. We have to stay here forever. Be sure to ration your coke and your sandwich, as these supplies will have too last forever. In addition, we are now responsible for preserving our species within this elevator, so we should get started right away with reproduction."
And her responde would be: "Ooor we push this button that says "Push 5 seconds in case of emergency".
After we finally get rescued, my shock is treated by the ambulance, that I had thanks to a very strong claustrophobia.

We would meet soon after and I would marry her for being my savior, knightress in shining armor!
