How to go from cuddle buddy to boyfriend?

So I'm good friends with this girl. She knows that I like her and would like to date her but we haven't gone past cuddle buddies.

We talk every day, hang at each others place, cuddle, and even made out one time. I can't quite seem to get it to the dating portion of the relationship yet.

Asking or talking about it doesn't work because I've already done that. Thing is every time we see each other, I feel like I'm starting from scratch. I've already kissed her but to do it again feels like a first kiss again. Hell, even getting to the cuddling portion feel like it did the first time. Its kinda nerve racking.

This situation sounds difficult. You're basically doing everything a couple does except without the title. If you have asked her to be your girlfriend and she has declined well then there really isn't much to do except move on with someone that does want to be in a relationship with you. It sounds like you like her a lot which makes it hard to move on, but sometimes by moving on, the other person sees you in a different light.

What more do you want? I don't care about titles, personally I don't see the problem - Not everyone dates -its not a must. Are you saying you want a title? (if so why)

Dating comes before cuddling, not after. Sounds like you are FWB or some sort of weird friend zone situation where she enjoys your attention but doesn't want a relationship with you. I would say you need to just lay it on the line, tell her you want to date her, not just hang out as FWB and see what her response is.

She doesn't want to date you! There isn't anything you can do or say to make her want to. If you want a girlfriend, you are going to have to look elsewhere.

So you've cuddled, made out, and hung out at her place? Have you even asked her out on a date yet? Such as a dinner? I mean if she's going so far as to hug and make out with you, chances are that she has some sort of interest. Man up, ask her out, and see how things go from there.

If she says no, which I think is unlikely, it would be safe to say that the cuddling and all that sh*t is just going to mess with your head.

Yeah we go out all the time. Thing is we are friends. So asking her on a date is kinda tricky because what exactly makes it a date? There have been plenty of times I've called her up and took her out to dinner and payed for the whole thing and afterward we come back and cuddle at her place or whatever.

Well, time to kick it up a notch then. I don't really see friends making out as friends--it seems to move toward the FWB region. Regardless, muster up your courage and flat out tell her how you feel. If she agrees, say something along the lines of "How about we go to xx for our first date?", something like that, you can construct your own. Be serious about it as well. I've seen some idiot friends of mine make it sound like a joke or something.

Tell her that you want more, and be willing to walk away if you don't get it. I know it sounds harsh but the thing is why stay in a relationship with a girl if you both want different things?

If you've already said EVERYTHING then just quit being her "cuddle" buddy and see other girls.

Have patience, take it slow and hopefully things will fall into place. Worst thing you can do is rush her. She obviously likes you so keep doing what your doing. Maybe she was hurt in the past and has her guard up or something similar.
