Is he flirting with me at work?

I just started working part time at a gas station with a younger guy I'm 30ish he's mid 20ish. We are always joking with each other and play fighting around. So I'm not sure what is going on. But he will also make remarks about how he thinks 30 is old. so I'm guessing he's probably just playing around at work because it can get boring? any advice?

Ok lets update and say when I go into the station and he's working with another guy he is kinda stand offish won't hardly say anything to me. So what the heck. I want to be friends regardless but don't treat me like that. what's up with that?

If I don't like girls, I don't play around with them, no matter how bored I'm. so based on that, I would say he is somewhat interested. Now, the 30 year old comment might be just to tease you some, so that doesn't mean much; when I was in my mid 20's, I dated some 40 year old women and my line to them was always something like, 'i could use the experience of an older woman." And believe me, I didn't say that to offend them! :)

Keep talking and having fun with him, if it keeps up, you'll probably become friends, right?

If you become friends, his actions definitely don't mean he's "bored".

And if they continue, then he probably has a crush on you or something.

Also, he could just be flirting. He may not like you. So, try and become friends first just to make sure.

most guys wouldn't bother with messing with a girl they don't particularly like

so flirt back

and go for it

Just keep playing around. Keep it unemotional. See where it goes. Don't assume, and god, don't make the first move.

Flirting doesn't always mean you're interested int he person. If he finds you attractive, or even just cute it can be VERY easy to just flirt without thinking about it, but it doesn't mean he's "in to you." Chances are quite likely it's boring, or/and he finds you attractive in some way.
