Why is my boyfriend doing tough love on me ?

he says for three years I haven't appreciated anything I he has done for me he does everything for me but I never give him anything he wants as . hanging out with is friends or just anything y is he taking everything away he won't take me to dinner or anything anymore he is showing me tough love he says does anyone agree?

he probably was jsut puting himself out there and treating you the best he could and he didn't feel like you were doing the same for him so he felt like showing you what it's like if he doesn't try. He loves you the thing is he wants you to love you the same way all you can to is calmly tell him how much you love him and all the things you do you show it ask him what he would like you to do to show it and do a few of those things but be clear with him that you will show him tough love as well and do it untill you are both real with each other because if he pulls away and you chase he will do it over and over again trust me on this.
