Goodbye hug no more...?

There is this girl I have liked for a while and she might have liked me back but I never asked because I am a wimp. Anyway, we used to go out a lot. Not dating though. She would always give me a hug a the end of the night. We haven't really talked much this summer because I was working away from home and she was working on the weekends which I was home for. So I contacted her and we went out tonight and caught up yada yada. It was a short evening, just over an hour. I drive her back home and when we say our good-byes, she didn't give me a hug. It left me kinda baffled for a minute. We are going to talk online and such and go out and do something again. Am I just thinking too much into it? Or is she not interested at all?

Ok, since yall used to hang out alot, I would say she was interested.did yall hang out alone? If yes, then she definitely liked you enough to hang out alone with you! I would call that a date if yall did stuff alone, but that's just me. Seems like she might have got tired of waiting around for you, since you two moved slow, but that's ok. Also, since yall hugged each other, or used to, there was definitely some feelings there, so that makes me think she used to like you too, or else she wouldn't hug you. Since yall planned to do something again, maybe she will give you another chance.I would classify planning to do something again and "hanging out" alone with her as in the early stages of dating. If you like her plan something else and don't let her get away this time! But yeah, the no hug thing is probably because she doesn't know if you are interested in her anymore, so why don't you hug her to make her think otherwise? Good luck!

Maybe she didn't feel you hugging her back the previous times. Perhaps she decided that you don't like her/hugs or are uncomfortable when hugged/etc. so she didn't hug you the last time you saw her. She was probably previously interested in you but lost hope? Try to think back and remember how you responded to those hugs. That should let you know. For us girls, and I'm speaking from personal experience, it's really nice when a guy ACTUALLY hugs us back! And not one of those light, barely-there hugs guys give just to be polite. Even if you DON'T like us in THAT way, a good, friendly hug is always comforting and puts us at ease! On the other hand, when you DO like us, that hug feels even better! Hope this helped!:)

Oh, I'm not really worried about others. I've actually had my share of girls and girlfriends since I've liked her but its just this one girl I get wobbly for.

Well, it sounds like she may be withdrawing a bit since you were away for a while and since the two of you didn't talk much during the summer, as you said. She was probably expecting you to stay in contact with her if you really liked her, throughout the summer. However, you may have made her feel insecure as to what your feelings are towards her. I think that you need to give her some time to warm up to you again, and time to let her know that you really do like her. She also may think that you're seeing someone and that's why you didn't contact her much. If you like her, you've got to let her know it, and let her know that you weren't seeing anyone but that you thought of her, etc. or else she may continue to give you the cold shoulder, so to speak.

U gotta work on the wimp thing. It looks like you had a girl who had some interest in you and you waited too long and she moved on. It happens to the best of us, you just got to have the courage to take the shot. Always remeber, you cannot lose what you never had in the first place, but you can gain what you never had to being with.
