What? Guy texts me a week later, 2 weeks post date.

I am seriously thunderstruck. I went out on an amazing first date with this guy. We were both literally saying "this is the best first date!" then we texted all weekend. We were busy during the week and the next weekend he had to go out of town.. but he said we would go out when he got back. So I texted him 3 days after he got back, a short chat. Then I hear nothing. I sent him a, 'well I guess you aren't interested' text Sunday and moved on.

Then today.. a WEEK after our last communication he pops up and texts me 'hey! I was just busy." I was like.. "OK..." and the after another sentence he disappeared again! I KNOW I should ignore this guy. Am I a total loser for being excited he even wrote back. I am mad I am frustrated over this at all. What should I read into guys like this?

He might not be totally interested in you but he doesn't want to hurt your feelings in rejecting you. Unless he has another girl he's trying to play and he's just doing enough to keep you on the burner in case he has to go back to you later. Either way I'd leave him alone and move on, if he does try to come back and chill play really hard to get

no you're not stupid at all, just by fluke luck, read into his mates, but whatever you DO DON'T flirt or try to impress them like flirting because that'll cause issues just do your research. ;) gud lck

He's not totally interested in anything serious with you/has other women on the side. A guy who was very interested in a girl would never take the risk of blowing her off like that for fear of her losing interest and moving on. Which is exactly what you should be doing.

This really sounds just like my situation at the moment also. I really do think that maybe they are playing hard to get you know or else perhaps they know that it could be more than just a fling and are backing off. Just suggestions to be honest its really confusing.

He does not know how to act. Maybe nervous or shy?. Ask him out. If after that he still acts as a stranger, you can ignore him.
