Would you ever approach a reserved, stand-offish or aloof person?

Say he/she is very attractive to you physically but you haven’t interacted with them so don’t know them at all and they seem very lost in thought and reserved to you.

Would you approach such a person in a public setting (given they are alone but haven’t noticed you)?

The evolutionary advantage of being an introvert is when there's a dictatorship who doesn't really like when you share your opinion you can stfu. But knowledge is external, I cannot really enjoy the company of theirs. I use to see them as a challenge to show them how awesome people are but you can't teach a new trick to an old dog. I'll leave them for their "depth".

Most people wouldn't, which is why most such people are single.

A small percentage of people have the confidence to approach such people, but of course, that's no guarantee that the aloof person will be interested.

Usually no because people like that tend to be socially retarded but sometimes I'll do it for a bit of fun; a challenge to see if I can make them smile.

Approaching people can be a lot of fun, you get some interesting interactions. It doesn't have to be nerve wracking guys if you don't look at it like either rejection or score a number.

Cold approaches aren't easy as it is. You need some eye contact/some warmth. That's basically at least a sign that they're somewhat interested.

Like you see attractive people everywhere. You wouldn't approach every attractive person you saw, unless something pulled you to them.

Not likely. I'm naturally reserved and keep anyone I don't know at a distance. I would think most reserved people do this and in taking this into consideration, I try not to distort the idea of safety.

If there was something that attracted me, probably. Sometimes the reserved and aloof are just afraid to put themselves out there and approaching them will make their day.

Wallflowers tend to be stand-offish because they are socially shy so they wait for people to talk to them and are a bit overwhelmed by large crowds. So yea, i would try to talk to them and if they don't want to talk to anyone then i will respect that

I check them out and look away just before they catch me, it leaves them thinking and that curiosity makes them want to talk to me, when they talk I make sure to make them laugh and look directly into their eyes to show my confidence, sooner or later it develops into a friendship and in about a month I can get into their pants, it has worked for me every time

No girl would ever approach a guy at my gym, I go there 4 times a week & in all my years at all these different gyms in all these different countries I’ve never ever seen that happen. Guys don’t even approach girls either. They just stare a lot but eventually everyone minds their own business.

I have never seen women at cheap gyms here, it wouldn't be safe for them. I find most girls rather attractive unless they are very ugly, besides I prefer people with high sex appeal instead of beauty, for example the Indian actress Disha Patani is very attractive to me but Emma Watson is not attractive to me, even though I can see that Emma Watson is more beautiful
