Guys: What does it mean when your crush calls you man, dude, kiddo, kid, girl?

maybe I'm reading too much into things but do those nicknames automatically classify me as a "bud/pal", "one of the guys"? or not necessarily? haha

Sometimes if I am passionate about something, I'll say "dude, blah blah" to my girlfriend.

I wouldn't read into it, I'd call girls I was into bro and man on accident at times.

Neither do kid or kiddo.

As for man and dude, I really don't know. I never said that to a girl.

so if my guy friend has been calling me "girl" and saying "hey kiddo" whenever he sees me, with a huge smile on his face... am I safe to assume (as much as I hate assuming anything haha) that he has a crush on me too?

Well I wouldn't say that to someone I didn't like. But this guy called you man and dude, so I really don't know if his words have the same meaning as mine. I'd like to give you a 100% answer but I don't want to be responsible for any further misunderstandings :)
