Why he hasn't delete my number?

Two months ago my ex broke up with me. We were having some problems and one afternoon I got a text saying "I was thinking about it all night and I think is best if we don't see each other anymore, it sucks but it's the truth, I'm not gonna yell or scream or anything. It's over."

So I replied but he never responded. Two days later out of my eagerness I sent him an e-mail, an e-mail he never responded. So since then I left him alone. But yesterday he sent me a "re" of that e-mail and he was like "I just want to wish you an early happy presidents day." But I didn't responde. And today I got a text, I didn't know it was him because I had already deleted his # a few weeks ago but I knew it was him because he was like "I hope you have a wonderful presidents day, I'm not sure if you got my e-mail."

So why the hell does he still have the e-mail I sent him and my number in his phone since he didn't want anything to do with me anymore?

he broke up with you by text, he is obviously a f***ing loser. ignore him.

also, you don't know if he was seeing somebody else and that fell through, so he's going back to you, you don't know anything about what he's been doing since you broke up, because he refused to talk to you.

move on. there's a good chance dating somebody that broke up with you that way won't work out.
