Girls flirt but then stop? What is with this girl? Need girl help please

why do some girls act all flirty and act like they want to hook up when you're togther, but when you're far away from each they don't make an effort to contact you first, but make a guy initate?

This question is so easy.

Firstly, girls like to be chased.. we'll give you a bit of time to miss us so when you do call us next we KNOW that YOU want to talk to US. It's more special that way because it makes us feel more important to you as opposed to vise vera. If you don't call after the 2nd day, it'll feel like you're not all that interested in us after all and we'll try to move on.

Secondly, if girls are the ones initiating the call, we might come across as clingy or needy.. this (in most cases) frightens away the guy. We certainly don't want to smother you, so we're giving you your space and when you're ready to talk to us .. our phone will ring.

Just to let you in on a secret that girls will NEVER admit to (but ALL of us do this): If we really like you, we can't wait to get the call from you. Our phones won't leave our sides from the time we give you our number to when you make that call to us.

we really DONT like the chase. it's the only way to get your attention and make you want to be with us. If girls did the chasing, guys would think that we're too easy, the fun's all gone, so they pursue someone else.

hard to say.. but usually it can play out in 2 ways:

if she likes you back, she'll probably be over the moon that you finally picked up on her flirting (if she's flirting with you, she most likely likes you)

if she didn't feel that way about you in the first place, she'll probably be worried about ruining your friendship and act like you didn't say that.. or ignore you until your feelings fade away.

Since when did guys get so lazy? Back in the day the guys did all of the bold moves, show us you're a man! Girls like to know that a guys interested in them before they do anything daring. It'll pay off in the end I swear. Men are supposed to take hold of the situation and let the woman know he's got the right stuffff... if you know what I mean. Put on your big boy pants and show the girl who's boss. Otherwise your whole relationship will be the woman controlling the situation... is that what you want? Hope this helps.

look, you are a guy. she is a girl. just tell her you like her. period. if she doesn't like you back...big deal :-/ there are other girls out there :-) chances are, she probably likes you too. girls, don't usually initiate things and when they do...they want to feel 100% sure it will be received well. No? it's OK to like someone lol...it's only desperate and needy if you tell them you like them, then they tell you they aren't interested, then you keep bothering them...that's needy and desperate.

If you tell her and she happens not to like you that way then just be like "oh, OK no prob. hope this won't makes things awkward and hope we can still be friends." than back off and it's cool but if a girl deems you as needy and desperate just for like her? than she has issues..forget about her : )

I like the guy to initiate conversations, lets me know he's interested. Even after we've dated a while I figure if he has time to talk he'll contact me...otherwise I assume he is busy. I imagine it gets old for you, but I think a lot of girls are like me:)

As a girl, I like when the guy initiates because it gives me confidence and let's me know that you like me & are interested. She probably doesn't want to initiate because she doesn't want to come off as needy or feel dumb if she finds out that you don't actually like her. She probably really likes you, she just doesn't wanna ruin what you guys have. If you like her - then you should tell her, if not - don't lead her on.

As a girl, I would not be put off AT ALL if a guy told me straight out that he liked me. I would be so happy inside but I would play it cool on the outside lol. If a girl thinks you're needy or desperate for being honest than she's an insecure person and needs to work on some things of her own. If she is cool with who she is than she will be cool with you being honest with her. If not..move on it's not worth it : )
