Does she think of me as much as I think of her?

My girlfriend of two years just broke up with me. It wasn't a bad break up or anything, and it's only been a few days but it's killing me. I miss her terribly and it seems like I think about her every waking second. I know if I want her back I should just try to make myself extinct, but it's really hard.

My question is: Do you think she thinks of me as much as I think of her?

Also, I went to facebook for the first time in about two weeks and made a few posts that didn't have anything to do with her and just a few minutes after each post she updated her status. This might seem like nothing, but she and I are rarely on Facebook and the timing of her status changes were kind of odd, even if they didn't seem to have anything to do with me either. Am I imagining things or is she trying to get my attention?

It sucks, but for your own sanity, you need to assume she's not thinking of you right now. She probably is... but if you think about it too much, you'll go crazy.

Trust me... I was there very recently. I never post anything on facebook, but when I did change my profile pic, then changed it back 5 minutes later, I got a message from the ex, "aww...i liked your new picture :)".

Then when I put back up pics of my ex before her (why not, I liked her better) my recent ex sent another msg, "nice pictures... you two getting back together?"

So I thought... is she looking at my stuff because she misses me? Is she mad about the pics of my other ex because she's jealous and wants me back?

It's so easy to overanalyze everything. If she wants to get back together, she'll make more forceful overtures that you won't be able to miss. Just be yourself now. I know the pain all too well... but just move on and be the same guy she fell for. Not as a ploy to get her back, and not to make her jealous... just so the world doesn't know how hurt you are.

You can't go out with someone for two years and not miss them... but if she still likes you enough to want to start over, she'll either say so outright, or if she likes to play games, you don't want to go down that road anyway.

It really depends on how your breakup happened. But it sounds like she's trying to get your attention but you did something in the past that pushed her away. This guy can turn things around for you quick=> link

That's what I do to get someone's attention by posting something while he's on. She's probably doing the same thing.

But how did she break up with you? Did she seem sad or relieved?
