Do emojis mean a lot when texting or are they meaningless?

Girl I have been talking to the past few weeks wished me happy new year 15 mins after it turned 12:00 and she said "Happy New year, hope you have fun 🥰". I wished her a bit later.

We have been flirting lately and we speak almost everyday. However I think we send such emojis to almost everyone at New Year's so I assume it means literally nothing, right? Same as wishing in the first place.

Don't heavily look into it. It's more so an additional part to a sentence to show one how they care to express what they've said. It becomes something more once you've come to establish more of a relationship with eachother and create your own special meaning behind it.
Like for example my girlfriends and I love the 🍍 emoji as we refer it to staying sweet, golden and a queen lol

In your case, with the "🥰" emoji, I'm guessing - it probably means with smiles and love.

It all depends on the person. Some people it is meaningless, others it means something. And a single emoji could have many different reasons behind it for each different person.

It depends on the person sending them. Some people will spam emojis like they're letters of the alphabet, while others will rarely or never use them. I wouldn't try to read too much into a single symbol, but rather the overall energy you're picking up from the conversation as a whole.

They are always good to use to highlight what you are trying to say but in the end they are what they are...just an emoji.

They really dont mean anything. People aren't a complex code to crack before you get to the good stuff. Some people use them a lot (my girlfriend uses 5+ in EVERY text) or some don't at all (Me, or extremely rare). Quite frankly, if someone is judging whether another is dating material based on their emoji use, their priorities are way off.

Yeah it is hard to tell with girls as they are usually affectionate to most of their friends over texts... one of my old crushes used to send me kisses and hearts when I texted her and she still sends them to this day... if she is flirting with you as well then there may be something there.

Never can tell unless you know how that person texts. Legit told a girl to stop sending purple hearts because it was confusing. So she sent the purple dick thing. So I don't know I'm not going to pretend anyone knows. Google doesn't really know either so. But if y'all were flirting I imagine she used the emoji on the line of flirting. Just straight ask though, nothing bad usually comes from just asking.

I never use them. Only time they appear is if the html code translates the code for the characters I used. If they carry meaning beyond conveying a smile... beats me.

This actually depends on the format of your text with the person. Emojis could actually mean a lot more to someone you've been texting/ flirting with.👱🏾‍♀️
