I use emojis a lot when writing to people. I think you can let the emojis say what you don't want to actually write. Plus they help with letting the reader know you're tone of what you mean by just adding some emojis to your writings.

Yes, emojis can definitely help show tone and emotion that words alone might not capture. They make messages feel more playful or friendly and help avoid misunderstandings. I use them sometimes, but not too much, just to emphasize a feeling.

I think it does, because I use it especially when I'm making silly jokes, as I don't want anyone to misunderstand me or take it in a negative way. But when I'm very sad, I don't use emojis to express it. I think the way I talk and my choice of words are quite enough to let my friends and family know that I am upset about something. 😅

I tend to overuse emojis.

Communication is so much more than just words and even tho emojis do not make up for everything that is lost with written communication then it can add a little context that could otherwise be lost.

@NordicInScandinavia I dont think it's possible to overuse emojis. Emojis are the most important things to use when texting people because its so easy to misinterpret a text message

I do use them like the smiley face, laughing face, and the wink.

I started using them on GAG's, but it was mentioned AI use them too. I'm not a robot, though I think 🤔 they're fun.
