Girl says I'm too old, not sure if she's joking or serious?

I turned 21 a few months back, she's 17F. I met her online in a game a few weeks back and we've been talking since. I really like her. Today I asked for her Snapchat. Not sure how to proceed after this interaction.

Before this chat she sent a picture obviously trying to look good (right angle and filter etc) wishing me a good night. This was after I sent her a selfie.

To me that makes me think she's interested, otherwise she wouldn't bother trying to send a pretty selfie after I sent her one. Right?

Do you guys think she means what she's saying? Is it possible she's just memeing or should I back off?

According to what state you're in, she could be a legal minor and you could be in jail. Find out what your state's laws are if she is able to be met. Otherwise, if you're only going to chat, nothing's going to happen.

Well we live in Western Europe, the age of consent is 16 here, so there's no problem when it comes to that. I'm not concerned as much about the law as I am the morality of the situation though, stepping across a border won't suddenly make something okay or not.

I still consider myself a teenager because I feel really immature even though I'm 21, so from my perspective this doesn't seem creepy, but I've heard from others that it's a bit weird. I'm curious as to what you think.

If you feel amenable to her and vice versa, then why not? Meet up and see how you mesh. It's only creepy if you're hunched over, rubbing your hairy palms together and twirling your stache and saying, "How YOU doin' little girl?"

Find a women your age and leave this teenager alone. She knows guys who go after teens are notorious for having ulterior motives. I obviously don't know you so I don't know if you're dangerous but you're probably giving her predator vibes.
