Is this a thing?
Yeah, I'm probably being judgmental, but I a go getter, if I like you & want you to have my number, I'm just going to give it to you, or I'll ask for yours...
Yeah, it's usually lack of confidence, but sometimes it's because the guy has a big ego and wants her to make the effort. The first time I ever asked a girl for her number was when I had just turned 14, and it wasn't for me- it was for two 16 year old guys who wanted the numbers of two girls at a swimming pool. Luckily for them, I had the balls to do that.
If I was a girl and some dude comes over and asked me for my number I would say paper pen and give him this number 1800 go fuck your self and then I woukd asked the messenger what his number was and write that down
Sometimes the "wingmen" do a damn good job lol. I was in a bar the other night and this bloke, funny as hell, immediately got me curious about his friend.
Other times, I think the poor guy simply needs a push :3
It's not a push when it's like "he thinks your cute, you single? So's he."
It wasn't a good job and it immediately turned me off to his friend.
Sometimes guys are just shy... But I agree, if a guy wants to talk to you, he should speak up to get your number
I think because they’re insecure or because it’s easier. I like to start a conversation so that I can feel the woman and she also feels me, then go if we have any chemistry, ask for the phone and set future dates.
Its s weird thing to do unless your 14, I thought most grown men just ask directly
Was he really asking for a friend?
Maybe he used that excuse to find out if you're single and straight and receptive
Because they don't have the balls to do it themselves.
I got that part, but why? Cause I called him out on it, since I don't think it's cute when guys are shy and have their wingman asking for a girl's number...
Lack of self confidence would be a big reason.
The only real thing I look for in a guy
You mean self confidence? Yes, men love to see it in women too.
Sometimes yes and sometimes no 9x out of 10 the wingman will keep the number himself
Lack of confidence and self esteem
That’s not a “wingman”, that’s a facilitator.
If true this is pathetic.
They are Pussys scared of rejection
They do that? Wow, that's kind of dumb. Yeah, it really doesn't start things off well, does it.
Guess it's insecurity. Or the bolder person really wants it to happen and so they take action.
