I was with my crush and a foreign friend. And the friend said 'men here aren't really manly.' then I went 'huh? So you're saying Alex (my crush) isn't manly?' while gesturing to him. I'm not really sure. about his reaction, it was casual. But do you hink he liked the compliment? What do guys feel when being called manly? (even if it was indirect)

Most men have an inkling of how manly they are and how they measure up. He’s lived for many years and competed with other guys endlessly in every way imaginable. Needing a girl to campaign for him and have to beg a case in the guy’s favor that the guy is manly to other men basically shows that he’s not manly. Hahaha If he has any since, he was probably embarrassed…

but according to his culture depending on where that is. It could be true. But fortunately his opinion doesn’t really matter. Yours does in this scenario.

A man being called "manly" is a GOOD thing. Men are supposed to be manly. Only in this fucked up era of Soy Boys, feminist, and transgender bathrooms; has being manly been seen as a "bad" thing.

Honestly it doesn't bother me that much to be called manly. I know what a man is by my definition and i will be one when needed
