Do guys like being called "hun" and "love"?

I call a lot of people "hun" and "love" -- both guys and girls. My close guy friends think its cute. But I'm just wondering what other guys think of it? Like if we recently met, we've talked 3 or 4 times in class, and I greeted you "hey hun" or "hey love" -- what would you think?

-hey hun would sound like my moms talking to me

-hey love would be a bit weird? because I think that word is for couples and might get the wrong idea.
