I was scrolling through fb when I saw my bfs comment on a post, he was flirting with a girl saying "if you are doing everything i am saying you might as well send me nudes 😏" i was like bruh wtf and then the girl wrote after fuck you and he replied with "after the first date". He already thinks I'm clingy enough but am I being reactive or is this him being disrespectful/cheating on me? He obviously said that as a joke but I felt really uncomfortable seeing that

There is no such thing as "jokingly" asking for nudes.

For his request not to be perceived as serious, he made it sound as if it was a joke but believe me, if the girl would have agreed to his request, he would never have told her to stop sending because it was only a joke.

As a matter, he was dead serious and obviously was secretly hoping she would agree. To me, that is indicative of a twisted mind and unfortunately for you, a sign of emotional cheating. That is a total red flag and a toxic behavior.

Not only was his behavior disrespectful but should be a serious warning to you.

It's not a great sign, to be honest. But I don't know if this is like a childhood friend he's really close with and always has been, then it may be different. It's generally not a good sign, but it's not the end of the world. If he's messing around or wanting to mess around there will be signs. One sign isn't necessarily enough to cause suspicion, but 2 or more indicates he's looking elsewhere. Just look out for the typical sign of cheating. You can find lists all over the internet. Find a good source and see if he's checking more than one of these boxes.
Men and women can be friends and it can be totally platonic. Experience tells me this is rare. I have slept in the same bed with a girl, who is a friend and there was no funny business, most guys don't or aren't capable of doing this, though. It is only an opinion.
