Is this girl playing hard to get or is she not interested?

I met this girl on a dating app, and a few days after we started talking she gave me her Snapchat. We kept talking on there for a few more days and then we hung out. Nothing sexual happened or was even attempted and we said we'd see each other again. So we have both been busy with our own things and we'll snap each other, but here's the thing... whenever I ask her or bring up a topic that sounds like I want to hang out, she won't respond. This has happened a few times.

Now I sent her something yesterday and didn't get a reply so I just told myself "I'm not gonna be clingy, I'm doing my own thing." Then she replied to me 24 hours later after I uploaded a video of me playing piano and she messaged me with a cute selfie where she was wearing makeup. I complimented her and she thanked me, then I said you're welcome followed by her sending another cute pic. I asked to hang out again and haven't gotten a response yet.

My guess is she's either playing hard to get or seeing how interested I am by being persistent, but not clingy. I haven't been told "no" and she continues to talk to me, so it makes me wonder what's going on. Maybe she wants to talk some more before we meet again? I'm not sure.

I'll also add that the first time we hung out, she was the one who asked and I made her laugh a lot.

Based on your reply to the previous answerer, could the randomly sending cute pictures thing perhaps be for validation? How does she respond to your compliments?

Either way, from what I’ve read it’s pretty clear she is not interested; either that or she is REALLY immature and bad at playing “hard to get”. I’d suggest easing off on asking to hang out she see where that takes you, maybe she just enjoys the ego boost from your chase.

I have taken a break from asking to hang and we’ve just had small talk. I found out some stuff about her. Then she talked to me a bit today, then I had to get busy with other stuff.

This is a good take. Like she’s great but if she wants to be friends I will gladly accept that. My thing is I have met girls who played hard to get & I have also met girls who straight up said no or they aren’t interested after I was persistent.

Oh god I've encountered this type of girl countless times online. They change their mind one second after another, they play with you, they enjoy the attention.
They seem friendly at first, pretend to like you or even pretend to be into you but then drop you like a hot potato.
Stay away feom these fake bitches. They harmful for your self confidence and just hurt you. All they want is a little ego boost and attention.

I asked her if she had a problem with me asking her to hang out and she said no. But I haven’t been sweating it. Just normal conversations. Plus I’ve been hurt many times in the past so it doesn’t really get to me as much as it used to, if at all.

It’s funny because I’ve read many women’s questions on here in your position and they feel guys take to long to text back, so they don’t text back because they think they might come off to clingy. Well women are tricky for sure. My friends fiancé friend zoned him for six months until they started dating & they’re getting married this Summer. I did ask her if she had a problem with me asking her to hang and she said no. So I’m not sweating it anymore. She replied to me and I left it open.
