I have smooth hands. How can I make them rougher?

My hands have always been relatively smooth. How can I make them rougher and less feminine?

Go do some yard work or something rough with your hands, until they blister. Repeat until callouses develop. =P

But I really don't see an issue with having softer hands. I get blisters on my hands all the time, but they don't get rough and calloused because I take care of them.

Cutting wood is great for getting rough hands. I read this story once where this ballet dancer who was a male, went to work on a farm once and because he used to cut wood everyday for the fire, his hands became rough. Also doing building work and yard work, boxing too.

Ooh yeah, chopping/splitting wood will definitely do it, or digging holes, lmao, if you keep at it. Especially if whatever tools you're using have old weathered wooden handles. My hands got TORE UP doing that when I was a kid. =P

I heard buliders have more rougher hands, as they do heavy work. Maybe, you might see something that might help towards doing that. But I think smooth hands are not a bad thing. :)

lol I guess.. Well, guys who have rough hands usually use their hands a lot. I.e Play sports (baseball makes hands rough) working in construction, climb things (like parkour). Just try to use your hands a lot and don't use lotion.

I work landscaping, and my hands are so soft. like, softer then girls hands haha. I use really nice lotion 3x a day though.
