I think cute is a fitting compliment for girls/women. They're small and diminutive with smooth faces and cute legs, boobies and butts. Even many older women beam when they wear certain outfits and someone says "You look so cute!"
The word cute sounds affectionate. That single syllable word has a nice ring to it, like "girl" as opposed to "woman". Beautiful is a mouthful and can sound excessive.
Cute sounds feminine. Beautiful sounds competitive.
I think cute IS beautiful. It implies warm, cuddly and adorable. I think of a girl/woman who looks fresh and cute as can be in shorts and T-shirt, a sun dress or bikini, but can put on an elegant outfit and makeup, and style her hair for a special event and be transformed into the most dazzling creature in the room.
I'm not a fan of the media ideal of beauty. Tall, leggy women with high cheekbones and puffy lips aren't my style. They seem to have a haughty attitude hard exterior.
When I call a woman beautiful, I'm usually talking about her entirety - looks, mind, and soul - as in beautiful inside and out. But when I'm talking about looks, cute is best.
A cute attitude is also preferable. Some women to try to be too "grown up", which can make them seem sober, up tight, analytical, suspicious, too independent and/or competitive.
I prefer girly girls who are also smart, wise, curious, perceptive, tender, capable, confident and fun loving.
I think it's also a normal and acceptable compliment for women to think a guy has a cute face or attitude. To say he's cute doesn't necessarily imply that he is diminutive or un-masculine.

I liked ones that really got blatant towards my body like "hunk" since those usually seemed the most reliable as far as the girl having an interest in me. Ones like "handsome" or "cute" are very hit-or-miss in my experience. The girl might say that without actually wanting to go on a date.
I've always been called cute and not beautiful. I'm 30 years old and still get called cute. I guess being called cute as a 30 year old should be a compliment since little kids get called cute and I'm getting older. Who wants to look old? I've always thought being called cute means you have a nice personality and its a nicer way of saying you're average looking but not pretty/gorgeous/beautiful attractive. I know girls who always been called beautiful but their personalities aren't that beautiful. Guess I take cute?
I prefer being called cute. It's simple, yet implies they think you're attractive, in a sweet way.
Beautiful doesn't really suit me. I see beautiful as someone that's gorgeous (or handsome for men) in a sexy way... which no, I don't see myself as.

Ok boys here's a really simple guide to speaking English.
Cute. Puppies, kittens and babies are cute.
Pretty. Pretty is what you tell a five year old what her flowery dress is.
Beautiful. A compliment you aim at an adult woman you want to nail.I mean I'll take either 😂🤷♀️ but cute sounds like how you'd compliment a crush or someone you really aren't close with while beautiful has a lot more weight behind it and is a step up from crush. It honestly depends on the context of your relationship.
Beautiful. But I'll also settle for "Satan's spawn."
I guess cute but I would prefer pretty cute sounds like an animal or a stuffed toy ✌️
If it’s a stranger, I would rather be called cute because beautiful feels a lot more intimate. If it’s a friend, family, or partner, I would normally be open to both.
I tend to use a mix of cute, lovely, pretty, canny, beautiful
I have a few girl mates that insist on using cute with me.
which when your chatting to a girl in a pub is not ideal lol.I really like both. Being called beautiful makes me feel like a goddess and makes me feel unstoppable, being called cute makes me feel like I'm loved, known and safe. Anyone and everyone will appreciate being called either of those so long as you don't make them feel unsafe
I dnt want to be called that by 10 guys, i just want one guy who will express his love in his actions
I rather be cute. Because you can be cute in multiple ways. ^^ like cute personality and behaviour.
I'm a guy so I'll take it as cute or handsome. I'd rather cute from a love interest, handsome from family.
I know I'm a guy, but I really like being called cute. My friend's sister calls me that since I'm shorter than her, and babyfaced.
I don't know I prefer cute over beautiful
by the way your cute 😉I’m scared now if a guy calls me beautiful cause one guys called me beautiful but when we had argument he end up saying Your ain’t beautiful enough !
I had bad experience with the word beautiful. I would rather stick with cuteIn terms of looks, beautiful! But when someone addresses your mannerisms or just how you are, cute can be so so sweet. So depends on context and moment
No, The word cute means a guy is stuck in the Friend Zone.
