Do you prefer to be called cute or beautiful?

I think cute is a fitting compliment for girls/women. They're small and diminutive with smooth faces and cute legs, boobies and butts. Even many older women beam when they wear certain outfits and someone says "You look so cute!"
The word cute sounds affectionate. That single syllable word has a nice ring to it, like "girl" as opposed to "woman". Beautiful is a mouthful and can sound excessive.
Cute sounds feminine. Beautiful sounds competitive.
I think cute IS beautiful. It implies warm, cuddly and adorable. I think of a girl/woman who looks fresh and cute as can be in shorts and T-shirt, a sun dress or bikini, but can put on an elegant outfit and makeup, and style her hair for a special event and be transformed into the most dazzling creature in the room.
I'm not a fan of the media ideal of beauty. Tall, leggy women with high cheekbones and puffy lips aren't my style. They seem to have a haughty attitude hard exterior.
When I call a woman beautiful, I'm usually talking about her entirety - looks, mind, and soul - as in beautiful inside and out. But when I'm talking about looks, cute is best.
A cute attitude is also preferable. Some women to try to be too "grown up", which can make them seem sober, up tight, analytical, suspicious, too independent and/or competitive.
I prefer girly girls who are also smart, wise, curious, perceptive, tender, capable, confident and fun loving.
I think it's also a normal and acceptable compliment for women to think a guy has a cute face or attitude. To say he's cute doesn't necessarily imply that he is diminutive or un-masculine.
I liked ones that really got blatant towards my body like "hunk" since those usually seemed the most reliable as far as the girl having an interest in me. Ones like "handsome" or "cute" are very hit-or-miss in my experience. The girl might say that without actually wanting to go on a date.
Well, generally if somebody compliments your body it's pretty sure they've made certain thoughts about it!
I always liked those best when I was single. Well, compliments don't do so much for me except in trying to figure out people's motives. So I actually like the kinds that appear to have the strongest ulterior motives associated, like I prefer the type of compliment from a boss at work that tends to come with a strong implication that I'm going to get promoted.
I found women sort of opposite though. If our compliments become too blatant towards their body, they might think we're only interested in their body and nothing else. I tended to count my lucky stars when I was single if a girl was expressing a strong interest in mine. :-D
I understand, I assume you work out quite a bit, right?
To be honest I myself noticed that I get the most compliments when I'm ''puffier'' and fuller so to say. Had some bits of muscle a couple of years ago but women didn't seem really interested in them strangely enough.
A little bit, but far from a bodybuilder. I think I got it more in Japan since I have somewhat large muscles relative to most Japanese, but most Japanese are quite skinny unless they're professional athletes. In particular, I used to get compliments from Japanese girls wanting to touch my chest and say things like, "Japanese don't have a chest like this." (I am only half-Japanese). I stay at roughly around this level of leanness and modest muscle from a little bit of calisthenics, lots of stair climbing, and occasional visits to the gym (mostly for powerlifting type of training):
Well, if I have to be honest that's quite impressive!
Cheers! Well, I was all pumped after working out for those. They're pretty flattering pics. I've mostly tried to settle into a way where I put in the bare minimum effort towards training and nutrition. I did used to train a lot harder when I was single like, "1...2...3... want girlfriend! [...] Hrggghhh! One more! Do it for the ladies! ... 8!" :-D
I've always been called cute and not beautiful. I'm 30 years old and still get called cute. I guess being called cute as a 30 year old should be a compliment since little kids get called cute and I'm getting older. Who wants to look old? I've always thought being called cute means you have a nice personality and its a nicer way of saying you're average looking but not pretty/gorgeous/beautiful attractive. I know girls who always been called beautiful but their personalities aren't that beautiful. Guess I take cute?
I prefer being called cute. It's simple, yet implies they think you're attractive, in a sweet way.
Beautiful doesn't really suit me. I see beautiful as someone that's gorgeous (or handsome for men) in a sexy way... which no, I don't see myself as.

Wow I'm surprised there's quite a few who prefer cute.
I never did. Always preferred beautiful.
I guess it's because many people correlate ''cute'' with friendly and harmless, while ''beautiful'' can also be associated with haughty and unfriendly?
In my opinion it depends on the personality more than being beautiful or not.
In my experience I met many women who are beautiful and really nice, and likewise I know some that are beautiful but aren't that nice. Likewise for cute people.
True!
This actually reminds me of this beautiful quote from Roald Dahl's Gli Sporcelli:
--------Probably Beautiful because I am. Ha Ha Ha
"Own your truth."

It really don't matter either way
Ok boys here's a really simple guide to speaking English.
Cute. Puppies, kittens and babies are cute.
Pretty. Pretty is what you tell a five year old what her flowery dress is.
Beautiful. A compliment you aim at an adult woman you want to nail.
🤷🏻♂️ you’re beautiful poppy!
I mean I'll take either 😂🤷♀️ but cute sounds like how you'd compliment a crush or someone you really aren't close with while beautiful has a lot more weight behind it and is a step up from crush. It honestly depends on the context of your relationship.
Beautiful. But I'll also settle for "Satan's spawn."
I guess cute but I would prefer pretty cute sounds like an animal or a stuffed toy ✌️
If it’s a stranger, I would rather be called cute because beautiful feels a lot more intimate. If it’s a friend, family, or partner, I would normally be open to both.
I tend to use a mix of cute, lovely, pretty, canny, beautiful
I have a few girl mates that insist on using cute with me.
which when your chatting to a girl in a pub is not ideal lol.
I really like both. Being called beautiful makes me feel like a goddess and makes me feel unstoppable, being called cute makes me feel like I'm loved, known and safe. Anyone and everyone will appreciate being called either of those so long as you don't make them feel unsafe
I dnt want to be called that by 10 guys, i just want one guy who will express his love in his actions
I rather be cute. Because you can be cute in multiple ways. ^^ like cute personality and behaviour.
I'm a guy so I'll take it as cute or handsome. I'd rather cute from a love interest, handsome from family.
I know I'm a guy, but I really like being called cute. My friend's sister calls me that since I'm shorter than her, and babyfaced.
I don't know I prefer cute over beautiful
by the way your cute 😉
Thank you!
I’m scared now if a guy calls me beautiful cause one guys called me beautiful but when we had argument he end up saying Your ain’t beautiful enough !
I had bad experience with the word beautiful. I would rather stick with cute
In terms of looks, beautiful! But when someone addresses your mannerisms or just how you are, cute can be so so sweet. So depends on context and moment
No, The word cute means a guy is stuck in the Friend Zone.
bruh are we seriously discussing this? For me, getting a compliment in itself is amazing lol. Ill be over the moon
Going of your profile photo, you look lovely.
@ChrisMaster69 lol, thank you! You're too kind!
@tatianamay nope I’m English and just believe in saying things how I see them.
@ChrisMaster69 ahh, thank you :)
@tatianamay no problem and please think better of yourself.
@ChrisMaster69 loll haha i will, thanks :)
I feel like “cute” is an easy word for a lot of things that can be name after it; but I prefer beautiful as it’s more unique and means more 🌹
My friend calls me by both, and she always say giving the truth is a duty, i see that as a compliment but i feel that she is seriously and i don't mind.
As a guy, my preferred "attractive" adjective is handsome. Out of the 2 options you gave, I'd prefer beautiful.
It depends. I think cute is beauty without any sexual connotation, while beautiful suggests a mild sexual element.
I think it depends on who is saying it… 🤔
I'd rather be called beautiful. Cute sounds childish.
Most women say I’m handsome sometimes they say cute either way I just accept it as compliment
Cute because i know i'm not beautiful and came to terms with it years ago I am however kinda cute and very feisty
@karaspara what about hot n sexy and feisty as fuck?
@karaspara I kept it clean as well.
Never used the word cum once, nor the word horny and definitely not the S word
@karaspara Swallower is the word I was meaning …
@karaspara okay will add that seems odd though.

@karaspara fucking pleased about that like.
Depends on who is saying it but both are nice.
I like both I don’t have a preference both are compliments and make me feel good:)
Beautiful - it sounds like he find me more attractive then if he says cute.
beautiful, but I think both compliments are flattering
well when I cry in front of friends or cousins that I am fat and not attractive then they say "you are beautiful' So I guess I prefer being called cute lol
Well, I prefer to be called Handsome, but "cute" will do !!! LOL
Beautiful
I have been called cute then she said we friends
Cute. I am not beautiful in my opinion, and people saying it seems dishonest
While I prefer the saying handsome, I definitely wouldn't mind being refer to as beautiful.
Beautiful because I have been called cute 83 times... And yeah I do have a list of how many people say that.
The best I have gotten was kinda cute which to me is a back handed compliment.
I prefer to be called cute x
THAT girl... is beautiful !!
An ex used to say I was a beautiful man... lol
I prefer to be called "a hunk". Hahaha 😂🤣.
I like beautiful better
Don't care, I won't believe anyway.
Beautiful
Thank you my friend!
You are beautiful and awesome!
To be honest I'm quite relaxed!
I just have to finish an article I'm writing then I'll be off to bed.
Why are you nervous, if I can ask?
I'd be thrilled just to be called at all.
Beautiful will do quite nicely, thank you.
