Yeah, usually someone relaxed and having fun is more of a draw and lowers the natural guard a lot of girls will have,

apart from that, we often sit in a group and will spot a guy obviously on the pull, so we watch him. He will try hitting on everything with boobs, he starts ridiculously high and then gets lower, by last orders he’s flirting with the pubs cat.

by contrast, our same group can be out and a girl in the pub etc, may ask one of the girls in our group about the guys she is sitting with, single, dating, straight, etc. Alternatively you notice that a group of girls are looking over and you make eye contact and do some long distance flirting, then when you get a chance chat to them without being too desperate looking, as in don’t make eye contact then break the sound barrier going to where they are sitting.

historically I have pulled more when I am with someone else other than a guy, so sister, parent, girl mate. When I have pulled when with a guy mate, it’s because we have been fucking around being stupid twats / clowns.

If you are just going to have a good time (with some friends I assume?) you come across as more natural and the woman gets to see how you act when you are having "a good time" (like too loud, too drunk, or just right etc.). So it depends on how you act for sure. It can work but I doubt it.

Generally I would not say just going out pulls more, as you miss many things when you do not focus on the women present. Like is a girl looking at you more than she should? Maybe approach that one. Is a girl looking bored? Maybe try and start a conversation with that one. If you are having a blast and not paying attention you are kind of making it harder than it needs to be, because it's unlikely some girl will just approach you while you are having fun.
