How do you ask a guy to go to a wedding as a date?

I work with this guy and we hang out once in a while...yea I like him but he doesn't know. Anyway in the middle of August I have 2 go 2 my cousin's wedding and I really don't want to go alone like I do every wedding I go 2 and since I like him and he's fun I thought he'd be great 2 go w/. I have 2 rsvp 4 the wedding by the beginning of July and I have yet to ask him Because I'm not sure how 2 bring it up. I don't think I want 2 ask him at work but I only have abt a week 2 ask AND get an answer from him (hoping 4 a yes!). Should I ask him 2 hang out sometime after work or something then ask then? but even then how does that even come up in a convo?

I'm going through a really similar situation like right now. It's a guy from work that I like, and I think he likes me too, but we've never actually hung out outside of work other than just walking to the bus stop together after work. And I have this wedding to go to where I don't know anyone other than the bride.

So I want to bring a friend and I've asked her already and she said it's alright to bring someone but I have literally three days (including today) to find out and then let her know. I want to ask him, but I don't know if he'd be weirded out by that or not. A guy's opinion on this would be helpful.

I think you should ask him to hang out outside of work, and when you guys have one of those short silent moments (like in the car together or depending on what you guys are doing) then just casually bring up the topic like "So my cousin is having a wedding in August and I was wondering if would you'd like to come?" Don't over think it and make sure to be confident so it isn't awkward. Don't

Oh you should also probably introduce him to your family (siblings and parents) that are going so he feels more comfortable.

well he has kinda already met my parents because sometimes they drop by work and just c him there too but yea ill remember 2 do that also thank u!
