Why does my manager flirt with me?

We get on extremely well. I’ve never got on with a man as well as I do with him.
But he is extremely flirty sometimes. Not all the time but sometimes he’ll make the odd flirty comment.
He is 46 and I’m 29.
We are both single but I don’t know why he is acting this way?
