Girls, would you consider this a good way to approach you in public?

So to give a very short description, say hypothetically a decent-looking guy comes up to you and introduces himself. Then he cracks a joke to lighten the mood (maybe it's good maybe it's bad but either way it manages to make you laugh), then he asks a question about you/what you're doing to make a conversation while occasionally flirting with you here and there. Would you be uncomfortable or comfortable, and would you continue to talk with him and possibly flirt back? I know this is kind of vague but humor me please.

It’s sad that we’ve gotten to this point really. Your question can be summed up as “Would you be uncomfortable if a guy talked to you?”

It’s unfortunate that a subset (though still large amount) of creeps have made all men self conscious and petrified that they’re coming off as creepy, weird, distant, etc, when all they want to do is hit on an attractive girl and get a date…a human behavior that has existed for centuries.

I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. I’d be flattered, and my reaction would depend on if I was single or not.

Well, I thought about just saying “Would you be uncomfortable if a guy talked to you?” but that sounded too vague. So I chose to be more precise with the title and the description.

I’m not insulting your question, I’m more so pointing out the absurdity that has become our society. Unfortunately for the 21st century your question is legit.
