Girls, Why would a Confident Girl Approach a Shy Guy?

I would say people might see me as a confident girl/woman on the outside (live alone, independent in most things, career minded). Yet I often tend to fall for ambivert guys who initially seem very shy.

For me it’s that I get to know the guy for who he really is instead of fearing that I get to know a ‘facade’. Often these types also tend to be really smart and a bit geeky and goofy which are traits I absolutely love in a guy! Once they open up to me I feel that I’m able to really connect with these guys and find it easier to trust them for not breaking my heart. Don’t know if this is true but to me they also look like sweet, kind guys.

I guess confident girls sometimes just like this type of guy. :-) And honestly, we also get nervous when in close proximity of a crush and we definitely have self-doubts as well. We just seem to hide them better.

... because i like him. If the shy guy doesn't show any interest though, i will back off. some shy guys think girls who have confidence aren't good girls, that's not true with some girls. I am not a shy girl , but, do have shy moments. Also, sometimes I get nervous, but, I will still let him know am interested.
