Is flirting in a relationship considered cheating?

My significant other flirts with other women but he tells me everything he says. A particular woman that works at a store we frequent together he always talks to her in a flirty way when I'm not there and she's like that with him too. But when I am with him, she acts all quiet. Should I be worried about their interactions?

That's not cheating, but you don't have to be comfortable with it either.

The girl in the store either has a crush on your boyfriend, or acts that way with all male customers who are by themselves because it's good business. But I'm thinking it's more likely a crush because she's seen you a number of times now.

By reciprocating the flirting, your boyfriend might be leading her on kind of. That's more bad for the other girl than for you, but it's still kind of inappropriate if it's really obvious.

Flirting by itself is not cheating. However, that is an indication of having a weak character, it is an indication of intention to cheat ( in future). It is an indication of having a wandering eye.

I don't think it's cheating since some people are naturally more sociable when dealing with others. Could it be a red flag or something to be concerning? maybe, especially if neither of you grew up in that type of environment where flirting outside of your relationship is normalized. She might be shyer near you because she knows you guys are dating and doesn't know how you'd react to that flirting. maybe she's worried that it would cause problems being THAT open about the flirting going on?
