Not so much a line. A method. When I was married back in the 80s my wife read magazines like Self, Cosmopolitan, etc. She kept them in the bathroom and I began reading them. I learned what women were looking for their ideal guy. When we divorced I subscribed to a few of them. And learned how to become that "Man". I went from having sex with about 5 or 6 women in my life to over 60 in less than a year. One week I had sex with 5 different women in one week. Married women were out of the question as I did not want to meet her husband looking down the barrel of a gun.
There is an art to picking up women. It takes some work. Was it worth it? Mostly, Yes.
I never have had sex using a condom and never got a STD. Just lucky and was careful about the women I fucked.
Pickup lines work. However, you better have a game in place once that line is spoken. Humor seems to work the best.

I had a friend that used to ask out any girl he thought was interesting. He told me that the worst thing that happens is she says no. He asked out a lot of girls and got rejected plenty of times. He also dated a lot of girls.
So When I met a girl I wanted to go out with I would tell her the story about my friend and anything else I had rattling around in my head. She would be really confused at what I was talking about so when I got around to asking her out she would say yes. I went 5 for 5 with this one year.

Just asking someone out is a better route. Maybe that is lame but that is just me. I don't see a reason to put on a big show.
