Did he put me in the friendzone?

Yesterday I had a call with a new coworker of mine regarding work flow etc. Later he began asking personal questions inquiring why I was always so quiet and introverted among others. After that he thanked me for our chat and said it was very enjoyable talking to me and asked me to join him for coffee.

Does this mean I'm in the friendzone or am I reading too much into it?

Given it was a co-worker then it probably is an attempt to try to figure out why this girl is so intimidated or stand-offish in the workplace. Is it us or is it her... It is probably a "weak personality" assessment.

Friendzone are the bad lands better named F-U Zone as I really do not want to have anything to do with you BUT I do not want my car scratched and my Social Media trashed Zone.

Coffee is nothing but Positive. Either he moves on you or he brings you into the "Water cooler" conversations as group member. If he does both then it is the equivalent of "meeting his parents". Make sense?
