id leave it. you said you hope she feels better which is sweet:) but you know, it is a monthly thing for us girls, yes sometimes it can hurt really bad, but we are used to it. it's not like she's sick or anything lol.

Yes- I turn into a total romantic when on my period and things like that make me mega-happy. Don't be weird and over-the-top though. Say something like "hope your tummy feels better" or "Aww I'm so sorry :(" or, if you're really daring "I wish I were there to help you"

everyone's different though, I know a lot of girls (myself included) who have severe cramps and painkillers don't really help unless it's like oxycotin or something super strong.
