Was he being jealous?

I was texting with a guy friend about him having a gig with his bend. He told me to come uninvited to that party since they are our mutual acquaintances. I said that it was out of the question and we continue texting back and forth.
At one moment I said that we'll be together at some other event and not to look in the teeth of a gift horse (it's an idiom in our language).
He said that I brought the horse to our conversation again and to pick another animal. I asked what was wrong with the horses. He said I have two at home (meaning my husband and his horse pet) and that I'm ready for extramarital sex.
Was he being jealous? And was he implying to get with him?

You are wearing on his patience although you think you are cute in your bantering. He definitely wants to intercourse with you, however, you are married. Married people do not have these conversations with another of an opposite or like sex, Period !!
