I like this guy in my Spanish class but I'm not sure how to talk to him?

I like this guy in my Spanish class he's really cute, friendly, and kinda quiet/introverted.

We’ve spoken a few times in passing about class related stuff or he'll hold the door open for me when I'm leaving or something. Occasionally I might catch him looking at me and maybe he might catch me glancing at him but nothing enough for me to think he's interested.

im a pretty well liked in school but I'm very unpopular in my Spanish class because a girl there really dislikes me and kinds turned her friends on me too. I don't know if he also dislikes me and I have no idea how to approach him. I don't want to make the class more miserable by getting rejected.

You should use your first language.

You are correct that once you try to make a fantasy a reality you can no longer hold onto the fantasy so you should consider which you value more, the daydream or a chance at reality.

You say you dont know how to talk to him, this is because you have already decided that it is important to you that you be viewed favourably by him, this is a mistake.

Not only do you make things painful and needlessly difficult for yourself you also expose yourself to the danger of exploitation by revealing your hand and showing SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW that they have power over you.

As you do not yet know this person (your fantasy has nothing to do with reality) it is absurd to care about the outcome, for all you know they are a total assclown in which case it would make no sense for you to be disappointed that they werent into you.

Get to know a person FIRST then decide if you care for them or not.

Oh and make sure you are compatible.. there are endless posts on here made by complete muppets who got married to people without bothering to find out how the other felt about children, pets, religion, politics, sex etc.

Also, liking music isn't a personality, have a think and work out who you really are, what do you actually care about etc, where do you draw lines in sand and why?
