Dancing problem?

There's this girl who asked me to dance with her when we were on our mutual friend's birthday party... I dunno a thing about dancing, or what type of dancing should I do... Next time if I get the chance (with any girl) I'd like to take the chance to dance with them.. so tell me what type of dance should I do? If they ask to should I do it them to get them more interested in me?
