Have you ever had a crush on your college professor and actually told them?

When I was an undergrad, in Ohio, I took a day school Spanish class, AND i was absolutely enamored with my instructor!!! I was just back from military service, so I was older than most of my class mates. She (instructor) was stunning, and her name was "Peggy Kaufman, and I could hardly talk to her without feeling like a school boy. All of the men in the department (Language) were falling on their faces over her, but she was engaged to be married. I was failing Spanish, late in the Semester (too late to drop the class, at that point) BUT she kept me after class and said she would either 'pass' me with a "D" (she knew I worked my ass off during the semester to learn Spanish) OR she would allow me to drop the class, which I did.
Never forgot her to this day, and could have only been so lucky to have a talented woman like that in my life.

There is one professor I like since returning to college. I am close to 30 so I am in a similar age range as many of the adjunct (and even some tenured) professors.
However, I have not told her I like her. One, we are in a student/pupil relationship so it does not feel ethically appropriate to me. Two, I do not want things to get awkward since I have to take at least one more class (possibly 2) with her before my degree finishes. Three, I do not feel like I am in the same league. To be a professor means you are on your "A" game and likely have your life together whereas I am still picking up the pieces of my life.

It wasn't college, it was high school. One of my homeroom teachers had the hots for me, she would always be near me, almost enough to have her boobs brush up against me, and her mid-section, one time when I was at my locker she grabbed my ass and then ran like the devil not wanting me to know it was her, but I knew it was. She was pretty and all, and I didn't really mind, I was flattered she found me attractive. It was near graduation time when I finally asked her, I forget the conversation, it was 45 years. ago. I asked her when I graduate if she would like me to call upon her or date her, she told me she had a fiancé and she was just flirting with me, but I believe it was more than that, but she didn't want to admit she "LIKED ME" But she persisted it was only flirting, so I left it there. Should I have pursued it further, or have to accept it was only flirting?

Yes, my college statistics teacher was a grad student majoring in mathematics. Her name was Ashlynn. Cute as hell. I'd leave her little notes or comics on the end of my homework assignments. She'd respond with a smiley face. That was about it.
