Why is he sending me memes or reels all the time?

A guy I’ve known from school has started sending me reels and memes multiple times a week. He started first with sending me a photo of him from the gym, wanted to do homework together, and since then has been focusing on sending me memes/reels every other day almost, it’s pretty consistent. Some of them are funny, others serious, others I can tell he’s wanting a compliment from me, because one of the memes was about him being stronger than his bosses, etc type of joke. I’m just curious from a guys perspective, or I guess women who’ve experienced it, what it could possibly mean?

Anyone who can not use words and has to speak in visual is definitely a freak. We have the English language in which to communicate.
