Why does he send me funny videos?

So we are friend but recently we don't speak so much. He use to always be free to chat or at least text me at night before going to sleep if he couldn't reply to my messages... but now he has gotten really busy and I did text him the other day and asked where he has been and joked if he wasn't writing because he wants to forget me. He told me has been really busy and was coming home late as well...

Since that conversation, he has sent me funny audio and videos.. why? Like there is no hi or hello and when I write something about the video back which is usually a lol and a short comment on the video he doesn't write anything back. He has done this before as well when we use to talk every other day... I use to comment and he use to reply sometime not all the time but now he doesn't and I just leave it at that..

is he trying to tell me I am still in his mind. Is this a usual thing for guys.

It had been nearly a month and he hadn't written to me and I didn't either. I didn't write be he had been acting very distance so I thought he would write when he does but it had been a bit to long then the usual so I wrote back. I always had a crush on him and I was going to tell him but then I found out he had a girlfriend so I didn't and just continued the friendship. I sometime had this feeling he likes me and then sometimes I felt like I was completely wrong.. so I am just curious. I wanted to make some sense of it. Does he just want to tell me that he isn't trying to forget me I am still his friend or like you said he likes me and just wants to brighten my day.

If he has a gf then too much contact between you wouldn't be right. He may be in a rocky relationship and he's keeping you as an option.

Sorry I should have it made it a bit more clear. He doesn't have a gf right now but he had one when I wanted to tell him my feelings which was a long time ago.

He's probably not in the right place to start a relationship if he's busy, relationships are more demanding than a lot of people think, they distract you from work. He wouldn't bother if he didn't like you, but then again he might be lonely or something.
