Why is my ex still sending me links?

He broke up with me a year ago because he apparently wasn't in love with me anymore. It didn't end on bad note but as every breakup it was rocky for awhile. Well we are not friends but it's not like we ignore each other. I try not to initiate contact (and I've been very succsessful in it) but he keeps sending me links, like if he hears a good song he's gonna send it to me, if he finds a funny video he's gonna send it to me, if he watches a good movie he's gonna send it to, and so on. He got promoted recently and I'm the first one he called. It seems like whenever something good or bad happens I'm still gona be the one he wants to share it with. Today he sent me a link from youtube with a funny dog and wrote "I just remembered when Lumbo this to you" (Lumbo is his dog). Does this means he's not over me yet?

I would ask him straight out what the deal is. Though be careful, he may be trying to use you for an ego boost. Did he recently end a relationship with someone else?
