Hi! Situationship ended after about 5 months. We agreed to be friends. Cool. Instead of texting me or reaching out to say “hey,” he sends me instagram reels or tik toks. At the beginning of our “dating” period, I told him that i love funny content and he should share the good ones. Fast forward to a month ago, he said he “isn’t available for me” and doesn't want to lead me on. Again, I was thankful for the honesty. So, why does he continue to reach out that way? Most of them are just funny, a couple are sexual or crass. Why does he send anything? Is this “flirting?”

I have a friend who I never dated who does something like this.
We practically never talk, but every few months or so he’ll send me a meme related to things we’ve joked about in the past.
Pretty sure he’s just letting me know that he hasn’t forgotten that we’re friends.
That makes sense. I send memes and videos to friends too but the other day he said “we aren’t just friends” because of the sex we’ve had and want to have. We certainly aren’t in a committed relationship (hence the situationship). If he doesn’t want to be involved, why keep sending me things that I enjoy?
I can’t say for sure, but it sounds like he might be a bit confused himself.
Or in other words, still unsure of what he wants in life.

LOL could be. He’s likely seeing someone else because he pulled back. Just seems odd to continue to do more of what I like if there’s no interest

I’ve sent a couple back but it’s mostly him. I just usually laugh or make a comment. I guess my confusion is about why he won’t just leave me alone if he’s uninterested
