You don't. Anon, haven't you heard NEVER date a coworker, or even a client/customer? It rarely ends well!

Especially if things don't work out. Then you have to see them everyday or try to avoid them so things aren't awkward. Plus you have to deal with possible gossip and nosy coworkers butting in your business.
I don't recommend it at all.

If you do, I suggest you keep it casual- be friendly and chat with him regularly, maybe eat lunch together... but maybe wait until one of you changes jobs to date.
