I found this guy on Instagram who is currently at the school I am transferring to next fall. I want to dm him and ask for his snap so I can get to know him a bit more. But I don’t want to come off weird or creepy nor blocked since I’m not at the school yet. How should I even approach this dm?

For his Snapchat be to much even though we don’t know each other yet? I feel like that would be a better way to get to know each other. How would I approach with out sounding weird or creppy?

Just be casual, say something like you came across his page and noticed he goes to the same school you’ll be at so you thought it’d be cool to know someone there already. Approach how you would approach a friend, because as of now you don’t know what’s going on in his personal life, if he’s even available, and/or interested in getting to know you on that level. So proceed with these things in mind. Also I wouldn’t advise asking for socials until you break the ice.
