What should I do when I get quiet/shy around a guy I’m attracted to? Do guys mind this about a girl?

I’ve always done this and sometimes I don’t know if it’s a turn off but I pause and stutter because I’m just nervous yet so drawn to the guy I find cute and attractive or funny. For example yesterday on FaceTime I got quiet for a few seconds because this guy I was video chatting with was impressing me with his work critique and of course I find him hot lol.
