What are the characters of the Balkan people?

I met a man from Macedonia. I am Turkish and i live in Turkey. We have a long distance relationship. To be honest, I have a fear. I've heard that Europeans/Balkans are comfortable with this. I know it's a matter of character but should I trust this balkan man?

Actually, he is seriously considering marriage with me and has been living in Germany for 5 years. I said I would agree to live in Macedonia if we were to get married, and he accepted my request. He hasn't even talked about sexual matters yet. This surprised me, but also made me happy. I am an orthodox and so is he. I saw him as a believer and free from such sins, but of course I do not know what kind of person these Macedonians were. I hope he doesn't show a different side to me.

I think I think a lot about this. I thought maybe he doesn't find me physically pleasant, but he really praises me a lot. I guess we should wait until marriage on this one, as she wants. And the fact that she wants to wait shows she's serious
