I have a crush on this guy who lives in a different town, he is an adopted son of a cousin of my mother. Sometimes (a few times a year) I go to where my mother's relatives live (my mother's cousins). I recently went to his hometown and he was really nice to me, and I also caught a glimpse of his flirting with me he stares at me, he played with my hair (he patted my head) there was also skin contact like rubbing my arm softly, he invited me to coffee to talk about our future plans, and he even danced with me. Yet he always had this distance between us, when I was about to give him a hug, he stopped me, and only when we faced each other is that we spoke, we never chatted through a social app...( He doesn't even have me in social media) and when I sent him a text he answered days later! And there were very short answers (he says he very busy and he doesn't look at his phone often, something I checked myself when I went to his hometown and wasn't exactly true) So I left his hometown a month later and never texted him back because I assumed it is a one sided crush, and we never spoke again until recently (one month and half later) he sent me a text asking about me, I was quite cold on my answer and told him that it was really rare for him to have sent me a text, we spoke a little and he told me got a girlfriend... He said that he remembered me a while ago, saying that I told him to tell me when he got a girlfriend (I never told him that, I told him that I hoped a strong-willed girl will destroy the wall he had) So I am quite confused... I thought it was because he doesn't want long distance relationship or didn't like me back or because he is a relatives son, but he just texted out of the nothing asking how I was. He seems to act different with other girls as well. He also said his girlfriend was nice but that he wasn't in love... And once he said I should date a lawyer, when he is lawyer, himself. It's only been 4 moths since all of this happened.
